The pressure to conceive can be overwhelming both physically and mentally causing anxiety and stress in both partners. A cycle of expectation and disappointment each month will only add to these levels, which will not help conception. Many different factors affect the ability to conceive but it is more likely to happen if both you and your partner are in good health. Age can have a bearing on fertility but there are many other elements which could be contributing to the problem
Fertility reflexology works in a gentle, subtle way on all levels and is beneficial for those experiencing infertility issues. The calming and soothing effects of reflexology will help relieve tension and can be instrumental in ‘letting go’. It may also assist in balancing and restoring health and reducing the impact of stress. Regular sessions and sensible lifestyle choices can help to increase the chances of a positive outcome. Ideally both partners should be treated once a week while trying to conceive.
Reflexology can help lead to a reduction in stress hormones, balancing the endocrine system , encouraging the body to function efficiently and to enhance it’s own natural healing abilities.
It is always advisable to consult your GP so that both partners can undergo necessary tests and a diagnosis made regarding possible cause of infertility. It is important to understand that I do not offer a medical treatment or a substitute for the medical treatment of infertility. Pregnancy is not a guaranteed end result.
